2016 Aug. Hengchun.
从墾丁大街骑脚车到恒春要一个多小时。恒春古城建于清朝末年，是台湾目前保留得最完整的古代城池。知道恒春这个地方是因为当兵时期听过王中平的一首歌，歌词唱道 “梦有多长有多远，有没有比恒春还远” ，心中就兴起了对恒春的遐想。后来电影《海角七号》主要拍摄场景在恒春，所以我也想来恒春看看阿嘉的家，寻找电影拍摄场景，了解风土人情，感觉一下恒春究竟是怎么样的一个地方。
Hengchun is the southernmost township in Pingtung County, Taiwan. It is a charming place full of historical traces and good food. Hengchun Old Town is one of the best-preserved historical towns in Taiwan with four gates intact and about half of the walls remaining.
2016 Aug. Kenting.
墾丁是台湾的第一个国家公园，也是位处最南端的热门海滨旅游胜地。从高雄搭私家车到墾丁非常方便，收费和搭客运差不多。我选择住在生活机能便利的墾丁大街上，极力推荐网络评价和CP值超高的垦丁157精品时尚会馆。來到墾丁，白天享受风光明媚的美丽海景，晚上的墾丁大街变成观光夜市，挤满了摊贩和观光客，彷彿不夜城般。
Kenting is a beach goers place to be for the young crowd. The vibes is casual and fun, with enough beautiful landscapes, beach and water activities to keep you occupied. Kenting Main Street is home to restaurants, bars, street food and nightlife when dusk falls. Nearby rustic town of Hengchun is also worth a visit during the day.

几年前看偶像剧《痞子英雄》，导演把高雄拍得很唯美，所以想来一看究竟。结果叻，还好啦，我还是比较爱看山看水，哈哈。因为天气实在太热，我也懒得到处走，瞥了几眼市区的高楼，搭渡轮去了旗津，本来想看的高雄体育场也没去成，下次吧。
Never been to Kaohsiung before, and had been wanting to check out the city. Enroute to Kenting, it was a brief overnight stop decided at the last minute. The weather was just way too hot to loiter out in the day, and I only managed to visit Cijin, a short ferry ride away in the late afternoon.
2016 Aug. Neiwan
位于新竹的内湾不是一般外国游客会去的目的地，绝对是个私房景点。看台湾行脚美食节目介绍内湾是个山林乡间的怀旧客家村落，有很多传统客家美食，所以决定到此一游。前往内湾的交通不是很方便，得搭乘台铁至新竹站或北新竹站，转搭台铁（六家线）至竹中站，再换乘内湾线小火车到内湾火车站。火车的班次不多，所以建议提前查好时间表。
Neiwan, located in Hsinchu’s countryside, is a charming old township off the beaten path. The residents here are mostly Hakka people, and you will find a wide variety of Hakka and local cuisine along the Old Street. While not the most scenic village or old street as other popular destinations, Neiwan is filled with great food and quirkiness that makes it worth a visit.
2016 Aug. Taiwan. Hualien. Liushidanshan (Fuli). Chikeshan (Yuli).
夏日炎炎，也是玉里赤柯山及富里六十石山金针花盛开的季节。一片片黃澄澄的金針花海衬着蓝天白云，在艳阳的辉映下随风摇曳生姿，景致优美。因为是临时决定的行程，订不到玉里的住宿，最后决定住在瑞穗再骑机车前往。建议要是订得到住宿的话，住在玉里会比较近，也比较方便。
August and September is the flowering season to visit high-mountain daylilies at Chihke Mountain (Yuli Township) and Sixty-Stone Mountain (Fuli Township), both located in Hualien County. The mountains are covered in a sea of golden flowers, and visitors from everywhere brave the summer heat to relish the beautiful scene of the sun shining on the daylilies.

不算是到台中玩，只是临时跟着朋友搭高铁去随便逛逛。搭火车，当然要吃便当！除了便当，更让我兴奋的是刚刚在新加坡上市可是一上架就被扫空，想买也买不到的超夯 “纯粹.喝” 饮料。买了两瓶，试过后，真的好喝，比起市面上的其他茶饮选择，茶味更香更浓郁。台湾的口味选择多，价钱合理。新加坡的定价足足贵了三倍！
2016 Aug. Taipei. Wulai.
我在台北住的地方，可以搭公车849号直达终点站烏來，非常方便。想要避开城市的喧嚣，找个地方透透气，不到一个小时就能进到山里享受大自然的山林，所以我蛮常来的。乌来地方不大，可以逛老街吃山菜，到溪边泡脚玩水，还有我的最爱。。。在山里泡温泉！第一次在大热天里泡温泉，嗯，还是天气冷的时候泡比较爽。
Wulai is a place for hot springs about an hour away from Taipei City. It is a convenient and quick getaway from the city centre, and a direct public bus 849 will take you to the Old Street of Wulai, where you can enjoy the aboriginal cuisine, and the natural beauty of the forested hills and streams.
2016 Aug. Rail & Bike Travel Itinerary. Taiwan Island & Orchid Island.
背包旅行真的会让人上瘾。独自为伴随性出发，放任享受大自然美景，轻松体验生活可以很简单，沉淀心情回归自己。
念念不忘半年前二月份的台湾花东自由行，决定在回去上班前再来一次台湾环岛行。这次想走得更偏远，从北到南绕一圈，也到离岛蘭嶼看看。自备折叠脚车，想到哪儿就骑到哪儿。
先在台北住了一星期，期间去了乌来、台中、瑞穗、玉里。之后的三个星期，单人行程从台北出发搭台铁沿西海岸南下到內灣、高雄、墾丁，转游轮到蘭嶼，返程到台東、骑车沿东海岸北上经三仙台、石梯坪到花蓮、搭客运到太魯閣、火车到宜蘭、再转客运回台北。
这一个月的轻松旅行，接下来慢慢与大家分享。。。

Taiwan is one of my favorite travel destinations that I keep going back, again and again. The island is blessed with gorgeous natural landscapes, delicious local delicacies, convenient transportation, and very friendly people wherever you go. Traveling within Taiwan is easy and comfortable. Quality homestays in scenic areas are common and best of all, very budget friendly.
I decided to go on a more ambitious round-island solo backpacking trip via rail, bus, and my foldable bike this time. After spending a week in Taipei taking short trips nearby, I started my solo round island trip. The highlight of my itinerary is Orchid Island, an offshore hard to get to island still inhabited by its native aboriginal residents, that retained much of it pristine natural beauty and tribal charm.
